Three Day Kitesurfing Course in Poole

Kitesurfing Experience Days: This in depth three-day course in Poole will teach you the fundamental skills you need to get comfortable kitesurfing, with guidance from expert instructors!

The first day of your kitesurfing experience will begin on land, with some simple trainer kite flying and theory as to how to generate power and harness the wind comfortably. Next, you’ll take a lunch break and re-fuel before donning your wetsuit. You’ll then take to the water for some one-to-one or small group coaching in the designated kite sport zone of Poole Harbour. This is the perfect environment to learn kitesurfing in, as it never gets too deep. You can stand up to put the skills you learned on land to use, move around the water, and practice the art of ‘body dragging’. On the second day of your course, you’ll jump straight out onto the water and get going on your board! Your instructor will refresh you on the skills learned during day one, but the main focus is getting up and riding as soon as possible. All going well, from day three onwards, it will be more of a question of time on the kite to put all you have learned into practice without the need for constant instructor attention. You can work toward your independent kite surf qualification, and eventually head out into the water independently!
